Protecting Children Through AFTI’s Resource Center

Advocate for the Innocent Launches Resource Center

Parenting is challenging and can feel overwhelming. We’re here to make your job easier and walk alongside you in your journey. Let us help you educate your children and prevent the potential of abuse. Advocate for the Innocent (AFTI) is addressing the critical challenge of protecting children in a complex and rapidly changing society where parents often feel overwhelmed by the immense responsibilities of raising and safeguarding their children. Open communication between parents, children, and caregivers is essential, as it fosters trust and awareness, which are key factors in preventing abuse.

AFTI’s exclusive memberships grant access to a one-stop shop Resource Center, where parents and guardians can find up-to-date statistics, current legislation, warning signs, and clear reporting instructions if abuse is suspected. The Resource Center also provides essential guidance on body safety, bullying prevention, and online safety, ensuring a well-rounded approach to protecting children.1 Our bi-weekly virtual meetings, include discussion and Q&A, offering interactive sessions for members to engage, learn and ask questions. We’re willing to have tough conversations with you so that conversations with your children can be easier.

Providing memberships for your employees is a valuable investment in their well-being and peace of mind.1 By offering access to our comprehensive one-stop shop Resource Center, companies empower their employees with the tools and knowledge needed to protect their children effectively. The resources available allow parents and guardians to navigate the complexities of child protection with confidence. This benefit not only enhances employee satisfaction but also strengthens their ability to focus on work, knowing that their children are being safeguarded more effectively by having access to these critical resources.
