WHERE WE ARE HEADED
Phase One
Advocate for the Innocent’s awareness campaign focuses on building a strong foundation of knowledge within the community about child abuse and its prevention. Our platform allows families to discuss concerns, share experiences, and learn from experts in a safe, supportive environment. Our efforts include social media, local partnerships, and community events to share vital information about child abuse, its signs, and prevention strategies. By fostering a community that is well-informed and vigilant, we aim to create a safer environment for children.
Phase Two
Our advocacy programs ensure we nurture strategic alliances with other nonprofits, corporations, governmental agencies, community and thought leaders to educate the public on child protection issues and foster a united front. We engage survivors to share their powerful stories to help parents and guardians better understand the effects of child abuse. These connections provide an opportunity to build relationships and humanize a very sensitive and emotional challenge. We host regular workshops for parents and guardians that cover essential topics such as body safety, bullying prevention, and online safety for every community.
Phase Three
Our prevention efforts focus primarily on education, and we offer free or low-cost resources for parents, guardians, and educators. We offer training programs for parents and guardians that teach effective communication strategies with children about body safety and personal boundaries. We foster peer networks for sharing experiences and strategies. We regularly assess the effectiveness of our prevention programs through feedback from participants. We use this data to improve offerings and address emerging community needs.
